I ordered 8 Bonsai trees for relatives from http://4bonsai.com site and I just want to say that I am amazed by the service and would like to THANK them for the quick delivery!
They arrived quickly and evidently by all accounts in perfect condition! And
to top that they are the perfect gift each family member was quite impressed
with not only the Bonsai but the instructions that came along with them. My
Aunt was the most excited as she had killed a Bonsai tree earlier due to
lack of knowledge. I told her that there are various items for starters such as: Bonsai Seed kits, Ikebana, Specimen Bonsai, Bonsai specimen, Bonsai Tool kits, Bonsai Figurines, Feng Shui products, Feng Shui, Lucky Bamboo, Lucky Bamboo pots, Lucky Bamboo kits and
Bonsai humidity trays that she can choose from and there are even Bonsai Wholesale, Bonsai tree wholesale, Bonsai trees wholesale, and Bamboo wholesale for business minded persons or those who wants to have bulk orders for personal gifts. I recommend this site for all Bonsai lovers out there. Or is there a better site that offers a lot of Bonsai products?

Going to the original question. The H1B doesnt get invalidated.
The rules and available interpretations and memos talks only about the condition to "grant the extension". No where it mentioned a condition to invalidate an already granted extension.
As per the Neufeld memo links below:
On page 4 of memo:
USCIS is required to grant the extension of stay pursuant to �106(a) of AC21, in one-year increments, until such time as a final decision has been made to:
A. Deny the application for labor certification, or, if the labor certification is approved, to deny the EB immigrant petition that was filed pursuant to the approved labor certification;
B. Deny the EB immigrant petition, or
C. Grant or deny the alien�s application for an immigrant visa or for adjustment of status.
So if denied, there is no extension of H1B, the fact that 140 was approved is inconsequential since 140 approval is but one step in the process if 485 is denied then the whole application was denied and since the h1b extension is simply a stop gap till a final decision can be reached. The only recourse you have is to try and file a MTR with USCIS to reopen the 485.

I just read the FAQ#3 and A33 says that I-485 �7/30/07 Y� should be used but my attorney used "07/24/06 Y" to file my I-485. Very worried now... any comments... what are chances that my apllication would be rejected?

As far as I know, if you re-enter using AP, you should just be fine..I would not get the H1B stamp and enter on H1....
I'm not an expert on this, Remember reading in the forum, you can go to local USCIS office with the approval letter if you have one already and get stamped in passport.
On other thread, also read you can reenter using AP and the IO in the POE will tell you that your Petition has been already approved and will let you in.
Please verify this with an attorney.

You again should be working overseas for your company to apply for this visa and to qualify for a GC you have to have documented proof that you worked 1 year overseas.
Most of us work for US companies who do not have branches overseas!

I guess the apointment dates are not yet open for nov 06 .. I had the same issue with chennai consulate I was trying to book one in nov 06 .. all these days it said no appointments for nov .. they just opened them (nov dates) up today for chennai consulate .. so I picked one..
Delhi .. I am not sure wat dates are current .. if it shows JUne/July currently u may need have to check every now and then until nov dates open up
I have taken mine and my wifes appointment for the same day.. In the process of your application on VFS it asks wether u want to add another passport .. u need to provide the second HDFC recipt #
You have to have ur petition no.. (SRC #) ..

Summer travel season is around the corner, and unfortunately, because of the swine flu scare, each and every person entering India from USA (and some other countries) will have to go through a medical screening (http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/India/American--European-visitors-to-be-screened-for-swine-flu/articleshow/4457075.cms) at the airports beginning yesterday. Some chaos is expected, particularly in busy terminals such as Delhi and Mumbai, given that "Airport authorities said they are still in the dark and are yet to gear up for these checks". So, it may be a good idea if those of you, who have just returned from India, share your experiences with this procedure; for example, the likelihood of facing stricter screening (or even a brief quarantine) if someone sneezes/coughs for any reason, or the "fitness certificate" forms that airlines are supposed to hand over to each passenger, etc.
I personally think this is nothing but a pay back time.. Remember when Bird Flu or SARS breakout happened, how US and other countries reacted and were screening people (travelers) from East.. In a way this "might" help in containing the virus but deep down this is just stupid ego.

Hi, I had similar thing, my case status still shows "case transferred from VSCt to TSC as they now have jurisdiction, decision will be taken etc' my case was approved in 2006, the lud was 3/23/2009 and after that it is still the same, noclue as to waht would have triggered this for an approved case, two things could have happened per me (Own views)- employer revoked 140 or regular cleanup of files from VSC as they no longer do 140s..also what is meant by PE in you status...keep me posted.
