Sometimes, I get bored/irritated with my wallpaper.
This is one of those times. (http://bloodstar.exaltedlegion.com/what/desktopg5-20110417.jpg) Forgot to bring the dock back up, but eh, still the same 2D dock.

Agreed that this app is definitely worth checking out, if only for the amazing more-apple-than-apple GUI! But as DR Q pointed out before this is a thread for freeware apps and at $40 Delicious Library doesn't quite fall into that category.
Actually you can try it for free and it's fully functional as long as you only have 25 items in your library.

Also, how the hell are you supposed to play the Swordquest games without the manual and comic books?
It is nice to see Waterworld though as the contest for it never happened and the cartridge was printed in very limited supplies.

I'm very happy that Apple has finally muzzled their suppliers.
These "sources" should not be revealing parts, and dates, and production info. Given the identical circumstances that occurred prior to the iPad 2 launch, I'd say it's quite obvious that Apple has finally reigned in the leaks.
It was getting very embarrassing that super-secret Apple with their Gestapo tactics, was unabe to keep 95% of the details of new products a secret, because some shmuck in some factory has Internet access.

I agree that "Castle" is a red herring. The iCloud website just announced their new name, "CloudMe." It seems unlikely that a site name change is created unless directed by new management. Also, the url "icloud.com" redirects to "cloudme.com." I'm guessing this is a juxtaposition of 'iCloud' and 'MobileMe'. Such juxtapositions would make sense if a company wanted to retain brand loyalties.
Also, if the updated website is any indication, I'd bet the Apple schema will be 3-tiered:
1. All users-free 3Gb cloud storage with 150MB/file and adverts.
2. $50/yr-25GB, 150MB/file, NO advertisements.
3. $100/yr-100GB, no limits on filesize, no ads.
This way, they avoid the "email for life" fiasco of the earlier .mac, yet retain financial incentive to continue serving cloud services.

The white model looks far worse than the black model. Apple should have used the 3G design anyway, it was way better than the iPhone 4's design...

Sounds like it will be same shape, same screen, same everything externally (hopefully a new antenna though). Explains the lack of parts since they will be using the same parts... What did we see between the 3G and 3GS? A matt back and some internals (dock connector fitting and the camera I believe)?

You've already got a Plus, so why not go for something else like an SE/30, 128k, Fat Mac, or a Classic II instead?

So I received my Belkin Grip Vue Tint today in the mail. The tightness is very nice with my BSE Full Body Skin. However, like many other cases the lip at the bottom (between Home Button and Dock Connector) is loose because of the thinness of it. So I was just wondering how well the TPU is going to hold up right there? I mean TPU shouldn't stretch out and isn't it pretty strong? I just don't want that part to break just from taking my iPod in and out of my pocket.

Anyone Know if Blue-Ray discs are archival? The normal DVD have a high failure rate after a few year in storage. Even CD-R media will not last decades.
Actually this has been proved wrong. As long as your careful, keep them in a good tempered area they'll be fine. I still have some of my original CDs and DVDs that I burned that work fine - of course it doesn't hurt to backup those discs though. Scratching them is easy. ;)

I would have no problem paying $50 for .Mac, but $99 is ridiculous.
They need at least 5 gigs of storage and domain name registration. I get 20 gigs of storage and 100gigs of bandwidth from my hosting company for 5 bucks a month. Surely Apple could do better.
Anyone remember that huge data center they bought last year? Hopefully at least part of it goes to .Mac use.

Hey Montrealer!
I wish I could be getting the iPad on launch day, but it's getting shipped to me around June 7th.
You plan on going to Ste-Catherine? That's probably your best bet. :)
