USCIS wanted to prove how my education is equivalent to a US BS degree. I hold a Masters in Computer Application from a good Indian university. My companies’ law office responded to the RFE on time and provided all the course syllabus, certificates and EVALUATION report.
My I140 was approved. It was a premium processing at Nebraska.

Hi, as per my thread title, I was wondering if I have to use my lawyer for the EAD renewal process. I am confident I know what/where/how to file the application and the materials necessary and because I am a little strapped for cash I'd like to do this on my own without having my lawyer do it and charge me for it. Bad idea or doable, what do you guys think? Thanks!:)

My daughter got the stamped passport back from Hyderabad consulate.
I tried looking for the prerequisite courses also, but it takes atleast 3 yeasr to complete all those courses here. That is the reason I preferred her to join in India from the beginning of the course.
Basically visa stamping gave us 3 years of waiting period for GC. If we dont get greencard in these 3 years then I will have to apply for advance parole for 1 year when she comes here for vacation and that compeltes her studies in India and she can come back to US and continue.
Thanks for all responses and right now I am checking with attorney to see if I keep on applying for her parole every year when she comes here for vacation or should I just do it after 3 years prior to the expiry of H4 stamping...Any ideas please....

Just 2 cents.
May be you can try to break the years 2008 and 2009 into quarters. If some of the quarters are positive, then you can argue saying "only 1 or 2 quarters were like that because of economy otherwise company is doing well".

I had 140 denied on basis of education.My lawyer has filed for MTR with education eval. My wife's application was also denied stating that the primary application is denied. Now do i need to file for MTR for my wife as well?

There is no irony, he is very right. The only injustice with Indians and Chinese is with the comparison to other countries. After all America belongs to its citizens, they come first before the frigging H1b body shops and outsourcing pimps. The person who names him/herself as BECsufferer is saying that others should not raise their concerns. The fact that his/her IV name has sufferer implies he/she is raising a concern of BEC was taking too long.
If BECsufferer considers gc/citizenship is a privilege then he should not really consider him/herself as sufferer of the process which gets him gc/citizenship.

I got the RFE document and forwarded it to my Lawyer, he is also Copied into original letter from USCIS. He is the same, my old employer Lawyer who has started my GC . I continued with him for filing AC21. He may be the one who may have invoked my I140 on the behalf of my last employer, but I am not very much sure about it. Is it safe to use him for RFE also or should I use some other Lawyer.
In this perticular case (your prev emp vs. you) your lawyer is a dual agent, so it's obvious he won't share info about his "other" client (your prev emp) with you. But in general if he is providing good service to you ,responds to your questions in a timely manner and provides you enough techinical information, then i'd keep him. if you ever need to provide any info/doc from your prev emp, he is the one who can get it. If you change the lawyer you will close that door. In any case, make sure you have a copy of I-140 approval and also copy of labor approval, if possible.

I am not sure the A number on the 140 approval had anything to do with a visa number. I am saying this because my PD is July 2006 and I have an A number on my 140 approval notice; and I know EB2 India PD is not current.

BTW I have seen fox.. and they suck.. Afterall, In these kind of emotional issues anyone making dumb arguments wins as a charged group of people has lost mind to have a rational, balanced debate. At the first place, if they are not ready to accept constitutionally elected president as a president because of birthers conspiracy.. they will never support any decision he has taken as a president! You won't believe. RFE was very simple. They just asked for a recent photograph. I think i forgot to send enough photographs while filing i-485.

You need to take only the appintment letter (which should have the barcode) and passport for finger printing. I carried all docs though since I mailed everything to the consulate immediately after the Fingerprinting.

Mine was transferred from TSC to CSC on June 21, 2007, no updates since then. CSC is not even processing 485 applications. Customer service told me to wait for atleast a year.
